Jamie L. Evans, MD, MPH, DABOM is a triple boarded-certified physician in Psychiatry, Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. Following the completion of a dual residency in Family Medicine and Psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati Academic Medical Center, she worked as a primary care physician in rural Northeastern North Carolina for the first half of her career, where she also provided behavioral health consultations to her colleagues. She has also previously worked as a part-time urgent care physician. She is currently a Medical Director for Acute Care and Clinician Engagement at Array Behavioral Care, where she also serves as co-chair of Array’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. She retains professional interests in Psychiatric crisis work and Psychosomatic Medicine, as well as in maintaining a passion for mentoring students interested in Healthcare.
