Sara Gotheridge, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer at Array Behavioral Care, where she leads the clinical team and oversees the quality program. With a 25-year career dedicated to expanding behavioral healthcare practices, Dr. Gotheridge brings deep expertise in integrated care, having previously held leadership roles at LifeStance Health and Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare.

Dr. Gotheridge began her professional journey in information technology, serving as a computer programmer and IT leader at Trustmark Insurance Company before transitioning to medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Indiana University Bloomington and completed her MD and psychiatry residency at Northwestern University.

A seasoned educator, Dr. Gotheridge has been a Clinical Instructor at Northwestern University’s Graduate Medical Education program since 2001, training and mentoring the next generation of behavioral health professionals. She also maintains an active clinical practice, ensuring her insights remain grounded in real-world patient care.

Before joining Array, Dr. Gotheridge served as the Chief Medical Officer of a community mental health center in Chicago, where she was instrumental in supporting individuals with significant mental health challenges. Her innovative approach to integrated behavioral health programs has made her a pivotal figure in the field. As an advocate for merging clinical expertise with operational efficiency, Dr. Gotheridge is committed to enhancing access to quality mental health care through innovative technology and creative program design. Her passion for the arts and music, particularly as a pianist, complements her professional dedication with a rich personal life, emphasizing her belief in holistic well-being.
