Amanda Lambert is a licensed professional counselor offering services to adolescents and adults in MichiganShe has a variety of clinical interests; however, she specializes in LGBT issues, anxiety disorders, marriage and relationship counseling, life transitions and stress management. In her practice, Amanda utilizes a non-judgmental, person-centered and strengths-based approach. She aims to make each client feel comfortable with her and with therapy. Her therapy sessions are usually guided by the client and together they work towards achieving the client’s goals.  

Amanda’s interest in mental and behavioral health care stems from her innate compassion and care toward others. In high school, Amanda’s friends woulrefer other friends to talk to her about their issues and distress. She is a natural listener and helper and wants to help others live a happier life. 

Amanda loves science fiction and fantasy movies, some of her favorites are Doctor Who and Star Trek: The Next Generation. She loves animals; she has two small dogs and three cats of her own. She also has a tattoo of the Emerson quote, To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
