Courtney Henson, LCSW

About

Courtney Henson is a licensed clinical social worker offering services to adults in New Jersey. She has a variety of clinical interests; however, she specializes in mood disorders, anxiety disorders and stress management. As a therapist, Courtney values the power of listening and being heard. Her goal is to teach therapeutic skills that bring meaningful and positive change to a client’s life. These changes can lead to both immediate relief and, ideally, ongoing growth.

Courtney’s interest in mental and behavioral healthcare stems from her innate desire to help others. At a young age, it became clear to her that a person’s internal dialogue and feelings about themself had a huge impact on mood and life decisions. She eventually decided to follow a career path that would allow her to help people realize their individual goals for mental wellness.

Courtney enjoys yoga at least two times a week. She loves going to the Jersey Shore with her family, where they kayak and swim in the ocean. Her favorite place she’s ever traveled to was Greece when she was in college and she hopes to go back one day.
