Jason Estok is a psychiatrist providing services to children, adolescents and adults in New Jersey and New York. He has a vast array of clinical interests; however, his specializations are adult psychiatry, anxiety disorder, mood disorder, bipolar disorder and stress management. Dr. Estok’s philosophy of care generally centers on a multi-disciplinary approach utilizing psychotherapeutic techniques and the application of psychopharmacology when appropriate. He typically has a collaborative approach with individuals and other behavioral health providers to identify needs and address those needs to optimize functioning and well-being.

Dr. Estok has always been interested in the functioning of the mind and the motivations of people’s behavior. His curiosity was piqued in high school when he took an introductory psychology course and learned about the basics of psychology. He continued in the field of psychology in college and had the opportunity to apply this knowledge directly to patient care while he was in medical school. Ultimately, being directly involved and assisting individuals with mental health needs led him to start a psychiatric residency for training and to pursue a career in psychiatry.

Dr. Estok grew up outside of Pittsburgh and likes watching the Steelers. In his spare time, he enjoys music and plays multiple instruments. Additionally, he is an avid shipwreck diver.
