Jessica Pacannuayan is a board-certified adult, and child and adolescent psychiatric nurse practitioner, who is licensed to work in New York. Ms. Pacannuayan is willing to work with patients ages 18-65+ and is able to offer care in English and Filipino. Her clinical interests include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (adult), anxiety disorders, bariatric clearances, behavioral disorders, bipolar disorder, grief counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, eating disorders, gender identity and dysphoria, geriatric psychiatry, LGBT issues, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, panic disorder, postpartum depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychopharmacology, relationships, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, separation anxiety disorder, substance abuse, dependence and addiction, trauma and abuse, and wellness and health promotion. Ms. Pacannuayan’s philosophy of care is to use positivity along with realism.

 She became interested in behavioral health care when the mystery of its subjectivity absorbed her passion and commitment to psychiatry. Ms. Pacannuayan describes herself as family-oriented and a non-judgmental person. She also considers herself full of wanderlust and well-traveled, with her favorite continents being Europe and Asia.
