About

Margarita Carson, LCSW

Margarita Carson is a board-certified clinical social worker offering services to adolescents and adults. She has a vast array of clinical interests; however, her specializations are anxiety, depression and cognitive behavioral therapy. Margarita is a solution-based therapist. In her practice, Margarita's philosophy of care is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a healthy life by utilizing complementary therapy approaches and techniques.

Margarita's interest in mental health care stems from her experiences working with individuals and families from disadvantaged communities. She learned very early in her career that she had a passion for helping people.

Margarita loves to binge-watch series on Netflix and enjoys hiking in the summer weather. Her biggest career and personal success is starting a private practice in New York State.

"The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination. " - Carl Rogers, Psychologist
