Nicole Termini is a licensed clinical social worker offering talk therapy to adults. She specializes in depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, personality disorders, childhood trauma, trauma, mood disorders, regulation and stress management, distress tolerance, relationship stress, family stress, life transitions, LGBTQIA+, and gender dysphoria. She also has experience serving Veterans, First Responders, Active-Duty Members, and seniors.
Nicole received her Master of Social Work in 2015 from the University of Kansas. She is trained in multiple evidenced based interventions, such as Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), CBT for suicide prevention, stress management skills, coping and regulation techniques and strategies, progressive muscle relaxation, and mindfulness.
Nicole’s philosophy of care is person-centered. She meets patients where they are and lets them guide their treatment, so it’s tailored to what they need to get the most out of it. Nicole will provide compassion and empathy to all those struggling to try to heal or manage their mental health.
