Shameelah Chambliss is a licensed clinical social worker offering behavioral health services to children and adults. She treats a full list of issues; however, her specialties include anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, children and adolescents, codependency, depression, domestic violence, family issues, LGBTQ, life coaching, OCD, panic disorder, racial identity, self-harm, trauma/PTSD, and sexual abuse.
Shameelah received her Master's of Social Work in 2017 from the Worden School of Social Work at Our Lady of the Lake University.
Shameelah is all about the patient! Her approach to therapy is culturally competent and client-centered. She starts and meets patients where they are, with the patient being the "expert" on their life, goals, and growth.
Fun fact about Shameelah - she has lived in Turkey, Germany, and Italy. She also has an adorable brown toy poodle!
