Stephen Herman is a board-certified psychiatrist offering services to children, adolescent and adult residents in California and New YorkHe has a vast array of clinical interests; however, his specializations are child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, mood disorders, parenting and play therapy. In his practice, Stephen believes in providing compassionate, exemplary and skillful care, maintaining the highest ethics of his profession. 

Stephen’s interest in mental health care comes from having always worked with children; he started out as a pediatrician and practiced for several years. Stephen loves to listen to all kinds of music, especially classical and folk. He used to have a radio show in New York for medical consumers. Additionally, he is board certified in forensic psychiatry and writer on forensics and children for the Newsletter of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.
