About

Vanessa Norris is a licensed clinical social worker offering services to adult residents in New Jersey and PennsylvaniaShe has a variety of clinical interests; however, she specializes in medical and health issues, relationships, mood disorders and anxiety disordersVanessa believes in understanding and honoring her patients’ individual attributes and needs and tailoring treatment accordinglyWhile her training is mostly in psychodynamic therapiesshe incorporates elements of other approaches into treatment including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy and problem focused therapy. 

Vanessa’s interest in mental and behavioral health care began after working on Wall Street for three years.  She realized that she was much more of a “people person” and decided to go back to school to earn her master’s degree in social work. 

Vanessa is originally from New York. She has a daughter, a son, and a Boston Terrier puppy. Her favorite hobbies include gardening and cooking.
