The Certified Professional Coder is responsible for reviewing and accurately coding all professional service in compliance with applicable Medicare, Medicaid, and their party payor guidelines to ensure receipt of accurate reimbursement. The coder is expected to adhere to Array internal coding policies and expectations. To perform this professional position successfully this individual must be able to perform each primary responsibility and job function accurately and independently. Knowledge of physician group practice, behavioral health, mental health, telehealth, standards of medical record maintenance and documentation, medical coding per Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and the International Classification of Diseases, Tenth Edition (ICD-10) standards, reimbursement concepts, commercial payor medical policies, and local/state/federal regulatory requirements. Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, multi-task with the ability to prioritize, and work independently in a remote environment. Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills are required. This role will contribute to the day-to-day operations on issues related to the revenue cycle function and be an integral part on training the clinicians on documentation.
