Payor Solutions Director

Position Overview

The Payor Solutions Director is responsible for driving revenue growth with key payors through increased sessions and new product sales within existing and new books of business through upsells, population expansions, and increases in utilization.  Primary responsibilities include serving as the account executive for Array’s AtHome payors and ensuring that we deliver and communicate superior member outcomes, provide superior customer service, propose, and launch additional programs, and negotiate rate increases and code expansions.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan with identified existing key payors and new payors, protecting core referrals, driving growth through population expansion, program upsells, utilization increases, and reimbursement increases
• Use a scorecard to track and monitor progress on the strategic growth plan and be willing to adjust tactics and approaches as needed to deliver expected growth
• Conduct weekly, bi-weekly & monthly partnership meetings with key stakeholders at health plans including, status checks, problem resolution, and growth planning and execution
• Manage or conduct trainings to care manager teams at payors
• Analyze member demographic, member utilization and clinical outcomes – present data monthly to leadership
• Continually seek opportunities to improve services and grow relationships
• Document key contacts and phone calls in Salesforce
• Request, prepare, and negotiate reimbursement rate increases for payors, tracking in Salesforce
• Manage and provide ongoing support of new payor initiatives and assist in components such as creation, sale, deployment, optimization, and data sharing
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to create collateral and content to support new initiatives, sales, and retention of payors and referral partners
• Work with Medical Affairs and Finance to address issues related to payor enrollment, billing, and collections as needed
• Collaborate with Operations, Care Navigation, and clinical leadership to ensure timely and professional services on behalf of partners, and respond to requests for member complaints and grievances, as well as requests for single case agreements
• Other duties as needed

Job Requirements

• 5+ years payor account management experience
• Bachelors’ degree in healthcare administration, project management or related field, Master’s degree preferred
• Superb leadership, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and training
• Ability to review data to find trends and patterns, and presenting findings to payors
• Project planning, presentation and technical savvy required
• Negotiation skills and creativity to find win-win solutions
• Quick thinker and decision maker
• Professional demeanor
• Knowledge of health care industry and telehealth trends
• Passionate about improving access to high quality behavioral health care
