Theresa Harbin is a licensed clinical social worker offering behavioral health care services to young adults and adults throughout the state of California. She has a vast array of clinical interests; however, her expertise includes grief, trauma/PTSD, depression, and women’s issues.
Theresa knew from an early age that she wanted to grow up to help people. She learned the importance of being heard and allowing people to be themselves without shame or judgement and she understood the importance of unconditional acceptance and love. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, she soon learned that she would need to further her education to make the impact she envisioned. She then pursued a Master’s degree in social work where she found so much fulfillment in helping people on their path to wellness.
Theresa believes that therapy is a collaborative process. Her goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space in which people can share their experiences, hopes and fears. She employs a variety of techniques and interventions to individualize treatment to meet the unique needs of each person. Theresa believes that it's an honor to join people on their journey of growth and change.
Theresa's favorite podcast topics include crime and forensic psychology. She loves to spend time outdoors off-roading, hiking, watching and playing baseball!
