Alonda views counseling as a journey of self-exploration by the client meant to increase their level of understanding and self-awareness. As a counselor, she acts as the facilitator of this journey.

Gricelda has always been drawn to help people. She is passionate about helping others to live their best lives by assisting them in moving past the pain, obstacles and barriers. She believes that the therapeutic relationship is a partnership working together towards the same goal. Gricelda’s approach is direct and empowers clients to gain insight into the areas where change is needed.
She loves interacting with people and is an ordained evangelist. Prior to her career as a licensed clinical social worker, Gricelda ran an at-home travel business for over 10 years.

She had the honor of being part of a meaningful therapeutic alliance for several years. She seeks to foster this during every encounter while also helping navigate life’s challenges, focus on personal growth and develop a stronger sense of purpose.
Leah’s approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, non-judgmental and strength-based. Her clinical skillset is eclectic, and she believes in tailoring treatment to individual goals.

Dr. Shane Rau offers behavioral health care services to adults in North Carolina, New Jersey, Tennessee and Virginia. He has many clinical interests and his expertise lies in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, trauma & PTSD and psychosis. Dr. Rau’s interest in mental health arose at the intersection of his interests in the study of the brain and mind with a hope to make a difference in people’s lives.
Dr. Rau’s prefers to take a shared decision-making approach to understand his patient’s perspective to ultimately empower his patient to improve their mental health.
Dr. Rau is a huge movie buff with a special interest in science fiction and historical drama. He also loves nature and enjoys the time that he can spend outdoors.
