Dr. Mitushi Mishra offers behavioral care services to adults in Colorado, Michigan and Wisconsin. She had many clinical interests and her expertise include MDD, GAD and PTSD. Dr. Mishra’s approach to care is referred to as optimal treatment which includes a combination of medication management and therapy.

Dr. Mishra has always been interested in the mind and how it works. In college, she enjoyed courses in philosophy focusing on ethics and existentialism. During her earlier years, she began an Amnesty International chapter in high school due to her passion for human rights issues. As her career progressed, her interest evolved and is related to her clinical interest in generational trauma and complex PTSD. Dr. Mishra admits that as challenging as mental health work can be, it is gratifying that she can be part of a field where she can help provide some relief, some validation, as well as address underlying mental health issues that can exacerbate physical concerns with the goal of helping patients pursue a better quality of life.

Dr. Mishra is also quite the traveler having lived in New Zealand for six months and visited Haiti twice to serve as a medical volunteer. She highly recommends the food!
