What People (Just Like You!) Love about Telehealth

There are a LOT of reasons people love online therapy and/or psychiatry services. Certainly more than we can include here!

It’s Convenient

Be seen when and where it works for you without the hassle of taking time off work or sitting in waiting rooms. Our clinicians often have next-day appointments and are available evenings and weekends.

You’ll Have Options

Find the right clinician who fits your needs and preferences — whether or not they live in your community. Access licensed counselors, therapists and psychiatry clinicians who are licensed in your state.

It’s Safe and Secure

Unlike Skype or FaceTime, our technology is HIPAA-compliant and protects your personal information.

You’ll Have Total Privacy

Your session on Array is strictly confidential. Array sessions are never recorded and you have control over whether you invite family or friends to join your online video call.

It’s Easy

Array works on any computer, tablet or smartphone with internet and a webcam. Plus, we offer 24/7 support for tech issues, test calls and troubleshooting.

You’ll Have Flexibility

Weekdays a no-go? Need to do a session after the kids go to bed? No problem. Appointments are available 7 days a week and it often only takes a few days from your request before you can meet with a clinician.

We Get Asked These Questions a Lot

Odds are the questions you have about telehealth are similar to the ones other people have asked.

What if I or someone I know is in crisis?

Array is not suited for use in situations of crisis. If you or someone you’re with is in need of crisis care, please call 911 or the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1.800.273.8255.

Is my personal information secure and private?

Absolutely. Array meets the privacy and confidentiality standards set by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. Our technology is equipped to ensure that your personal information including your history, medical records and treatment are protected and secure.

What technology do I need?

Most people already have access to the tools they need to connect to a provider through Array. Individuals can access sessions using smartphones, tablets or computers equipped with webcams. No special equipment, software or app downloads are needed.

Why online psychiatry?

How do online psychiatry sessions work?

Getting started is easy. Once you complete our online registration forms, you will receive an email confirmation with next steps. An Array care navigator will reach out to help you find the provider and session time that best suit your needs. Then, the Array team will support you as you try a test session, meet with your provider and set follow-up appointments.

When it’s time for your session, you’ll need to be in a private space with a tablet, smartphone or computer with a web camera to log in for your session. You and your provider will be able to see and hear each other throughout the appointment.

After your session, your provider will charge your credit card for the amount you owe and Array will automatically submit a bill to your insurance company, if applicable.

What do Array AtHome sessions cost?

Cost of sessions on Array vary based on your insurance, the type of provider you will be seeing and what service you are looking for. Generally though, telehealth sessions cost about the same as an in-person appointment, but you have the convenience of not having to travel to an office. If you have a question about whether your insurance will cover your appointment, we are here to help! You can connect with a member of our care navigation team at 1.800.442.8938 or care@arraybc.com to discuss what an Array session will cost for you.
