Katarzyna Kundera, LCSW

About

Katarzyna Kundera is a licensed clinical social worker offering behavioral health services to children and adults. She treats a full list of issues; however, her specialties include grief counseling, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and anger management.

Katarzyna received her Master of Social Work in 2016 from the University of West Florida.

Katarzyna believes everyone yearns to be heard, in a non-judgmental, non-threatening, safe space. This is exactly what she wants to create in the space she holds for her clients. Mental health is not "cookie-cutter", everyone has their own individual issues, that require individual therapeutic approaches. She also believes in confidentiality and privacy, and always meeting the client where they are.

Katarzyna is Polish and speaks it fluently. Her and her family immigrated to the United States when she was 3 years old. She also has a certified emotional support Doberman Pinscher named "Azor".

Her favorite quote is, "We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty" - Maya Angelou
