Maggie received her Master’s of Social Work in 2014 from the University of Hawaii, Manoa – Honolulu. Maggie strives to operate from a strength based and solution focused framework. She acts as a guide and sounding board to help process any life events patients may currently be experiencing and assist them in developing appropriate tools to move forward. Her approach is to meet each client where they are and to collaboratively develop a treatment plan based off their individual goals. In Maggie’s spare time, you can find her at a local coffee shop, the beach, or on a hiking trail!

Lorna Hassard is a licensed clinical social worker offering services to adolescent and adult residents in California. She has numerous clinical interests; however, she specializes in anxiety disorders, life transitions, grief counseling, trauma and abuse and wellness and health promotion. In her practice, Lorna’s philosophy of care is built around the belief that helping people learn more about themselves and their abilities and strengths can lead to positive life changes. She enjoys helping others find their personal source of empowerment.

Lorna believes that in a sense the world has gotten smaller and that many get overwhelmed with information and struggle through daily challenges. Lorna chose a career in social work to help others find a way to rediscover fun and enjoy daily life.

Lorna has raised four children to adulthood. She enjoys learning new hobbies and has happily and successfully changed careers mid-life.

Janet Bosworth (she/her) is a female licensed marriage and family therapist offering services to adults. She has a variety of clinical interests; however, she specializes in LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety disorders, grief counseling and coping skills.

In her practice, Janet’s philosophy of care is to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to talk about their feelings and problems. She believes the primary goal of therapy is to help clients move forward in a positive direction in their lives.

Janet’s interest in mental and behavioral health care began in middle school when her mother introduced her to a series of articles in the Christian Science Monitor regarding the treatment of minors in the California juvenile system.

In her free time, Janet enjoys arts and crafts. She loves old movies and quiet time in nature.

Gina has an extensive range of specialties and experiences that she has gained over her 10 years of practice providing services to all ages across various psychiatric settings. These specialties include dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dual diagnosis, and play therapy.

Gina is skilled in eliciting willingness for positive change in her clients. In her sessions, she conveys a confidence in their abilities that allows her to effectively build a strong therapeutic alliance.

Dmitry Primak, MD

Dr. Dmitry E. Primak is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association who is offering psychiatry services to adults. He has extensive experience in treatment of variety of conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, chemical addiction and other psychological disorders. He approaches individuals with a passion for helping them learn about their conditions and treatments as well guiding them to heal.
Dr. Primak has been practicing psychiatry since 1973 after graduation from Zaporozhye Medical University in Ukraine where his interest in behavioral health care began. He has completed psychiatry residency training at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. For the past 18 years Dr. D. Primak has acted as attending psychiatrist and chief psychiatrist of the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at Bergen Regional Medical Center, as a psychiatrist in emergency screening and outreach at CarePlus Center and as a psychiatrist in his own private practice. Throughout his career, his joy has come from watching a measured improvement of the lives of people he works with.
In his personal life, Dr. Primak enjoys hiking, reading books and swimming. He recently relocated to California to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He interacts with the world through his values of optimism, realism and persistence keeping in mind one of his favorite quotes from Fredrich Nietzche: “He who would learn to fly one day must first learn to stand and walk and run and climb and dance; one cannot fly into flying.”

Diana Methfessel, LMFT is a licensed marriage and family therapist offering services to adults. She has a vast array of clinical interests; however, her specializations are family therapy comprised of adult children and their parents, therapy for graduate students in master level or PhD/PsyD university programs, therapy with adult children of alcoholic/addictive parents, therapy with family members struggling with an addictive family member, hospice and end of live issues, grief work related to pets, and hoarding.

In her practice, Diana believes that most people want to be heard and accepted for whatever they are going through at that moment. Once someone feels understood, they can then embrace hope to consider walking through the dark places in their lives.

Since she was young, Diana has been interested in mental health care and how people think and behave. Her sense of curiosity allows her to “lean in” and imagine what it is like to walk in the shoes of individuals she is working with.

After 50 years in her home state of California, Diana decided to move across the country to Florida. She is dedicated to wellness practice, including yoga and mindfulness meditation, and is passionate about animals and preserving our beautiful world.

Cesar received his Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2018 from Walden University.

Cesar’s philosophy of care is to provide compassionate care to individuals in need and help them reach their stability and baseline.

Cesar enjoys traveling all over the world and he’s had the opportunity to live in both Europe and Australia.
