Maria Monte is a licensed professional counselor offering therapy to children and adults. She specializes in trauma, PTSD, child and adolescent therapy, grief counseling, anxiety, and depression. Maria grew up in a large family and from an early age, she observed that her perspective was vastly different from her siblings after having experienced the same life events.

Maria believes it is especially important to understand how our past has influenced our present. Maria believes that we see and relate to the world the way we were shaped from an early age. Knowing who we are and how we see and perceive the world helps us understand how we relate better to ourselves and to others.

During the last 14 years, Maria has moved to and from other countries and states and her true home is between Texas and Spain. She is also fluent in both English and Spanish!
